Program Information
Call 669-6644 to register or for more information about programs. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, unless otherwise stated. Programs that are wheelchair accessible are designated with the symbol.

Ongoing Programs

Saturday Morning Bird Walk. 8 a.m.  An Oxley staff member will lead a bird walk on the first Saturday of every month for all ages. Beginners are welcome. No reservations required. Bring binoculars if you have them, and meet at the Nature Center.

Family Adventures are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from Sept. to May.

Family Discoveries are held on the 2nd Sunday of each month from Sept. to May.

Full Moon Walk Programs. Small, guided groups explore the Nature Center by night, without flashlights, learning to use senses other than sight. Pre-registration is required

Astronomy Programs.
Because of two recent staff reductions and other cost-cutting measures in the City of Tulsa, Oxley Nature Center’s monthly star programs are currently on hold.
Star programs usually begin with an introduction to the constellations and star legends from many cultures. Each month features a different astronomy topic. Pre-registration is required.
