Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, unless otherwise stated.
Programs that are wheelchair accessible are designated with the 
symbol.
Ongoing
Programs
Junior Naturalists. This program is for 3rd-5th graders
and begins in September.
Meetings are held the 2nd Saturday of every month through May. If your child
enjoys making discoveries about nature, and being with other like-minded
children, then this is the program for them The program
involves nature hikes, an off-site trip, a family cook-out and creative
activities. Join us for the fun!
Saturday Morning Bird Walk. 8 a.m. An Oxley staff member will lead a bird walk on the first Saturday of every
month for all ages. Beginners are welcome. No reservations required. Bring
binoculars if you have them, and meet at the Nature Center.
Kids' Saturday. The second
Saturday of September through May from 10-11:30 a.m. Beginners welcome.
Discovery Club: 3- to 5-year-olds, each accompanied by an adult; Adventure Club:
kindergarteners through 2nd graders. Call (918) 669-6644 on or after the first
Sunday of each month to register.
Full Moon Walk Programs.Small, guided groups
explore the Nature Center by night, without flashlights, learning to use senses
other than sight. Pre-registration is required
Astronomy Programs. Star
programs usually begin with an introduction to the constellations and star
legends from many cultures. Each month features a different astronomy topic. Pre-registration
is required.
