MONTHLY CALENDAR

This monthly calendar showcases upcoming activities. 

BIRD WALK

8 a.m. on the 1st Saturday of the month.  An Oxley staff member will lead a bird walk on the first Saturday of every month for all ages. Beginners are welcome. Bring binoculars if you have them, and meet at the Nature Center.

 

Join us for a guided walk through Oxley on the fourth Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m. This walk will will focus on local flora. 

BOTANY WALK

 

BUTTERFLY WALK

Stroll the grounds in search of butterflies at 10:30 a.m. on the 3rd Saturday of each month from Sept. to Oct. and 9:30 to 11:00 from April to August.

 

Join us for a guided walk through Oxley on the fourth Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m. This walk will will focus on local flora. 

BOTANY WALK

Small, guided groups explore the Nature Center by night, without flashlights, learning to use senses other than sight. Pre-registration & fee required.

FULL MOON WALK

 

WEEKEND TOURS

Organized groups of 6 or more may request a guide to tour the Nature Center after school or on weekends. Make your request two weeks in advance.

 

Walks are led by the Tulsa Audubon society. Aimed at ages 8-18, but anyone may attend. Kids 10 and under need an adult. Contact Jeff Cox at jeffacox@gmail.com

AUDUBON  WALK

 

SECOND SATURDAY SKETCHERS

 Monthly nature sketching group led by Claire Harkness. Free to Oxley Members, $5 per session to all others.
You must register in advance by calling 918-596-9054. Spaces are limited!

 
 

Oxley Nature Center offers a rich resource for nature related studies. Several schools and higher institutions use this area for a variety of studies. Three students currently studying at The University of Tulsa will be presenting lectures at Oxley this spring.

 

Free for Members, volunteers and students, $5 for non-members
