FULL MOON WALK 

7pm-8:30pm on Select dates

Small, guided groups explore the Nature Center by night, without flashlights, learning to use senses other than sight. Pre-registration & fee required.        

BUTTERFLY WALK

9:30am-11am April- Aug  10:30 - Noon Sept-Oct

Stroll the grounds in search of butterflies on the 3rd Saturday of each month from Apr. to Oct.         

BOTANY WALK 

9:30am-11am April- Aug  10:30 - Noon Sept-Oct

Join us for a guided walk through Oxley on the fourth Saturday of the month. This walk will will focus on local flora.          

BIRD WALK 

8am-9:45am

An Oxley staff member will lead a bird walk on the first Saturday of every month for all ages. Beginners are welcome. Bring binoculars if you have them, and meet at the Nature Center.          

AUDUBON WALK 

Select Saturdays 8:30 am-10:30 am

Join the Tulsa Audubon Society for a guided walk through Oxley. This walk is mainly aimed at kids age 8 to 18, but all comers are welcome. See calendar for more details.

SECOND SATURDAY SKETCHERS 

10:00 AM - 11:30 AM  ON HIATUS UNTIL SPRING 2019

Do you want to develop your perception and ability to draw and paint nature? Oxley Nature Center is now offering a monthly nature sketching group, meeting on the second Saturday of each month in Spring and Summer. 

DISCOVERY CLUB 

10:30am - Noon  October through February

Pre-K through 2nd Grade come and enjoy a fun learning experience along with a short hike through nature.  

Call to register. Free for members $5 per session for non members       

DRAWING AND PAINTING THE ANIMALS OF OXLEY 

10:30am - Noon         Members $3  Non-Members $8

Ages 8-12 Join Claire Harkness for a sketching opportunity aimed at a younger audience. Students will learn to paint and draw the many animals found at Oxley on the fourth saturday of each month.

Spring Lecture Series 2019 

Oxley Nature Center offers a rich resource for nature related studies. Several schools and higher institutions use this area for a variety of studies. Three students currently studying at The University of Tulsa will be presenting lectures at Oxley this spring.
